Annual Subscription and Renewals
The annual subscription to the Society must normally be paid for by 26th July, for the lecture programme which starts in October. Current members are invited to complete the attached form and return it to our Membership Secretary, Jilly Hawkesworth - if you have a laptop you should be able to complete the form online, and then either save it so that you can email it, or you can print and post it. If you have an iPad you should print the form, complete it and post it, as the software used for creating the form is for laptops.

Be our Guest?
We would love to welcome you to Crudwell Village Hall as a guest, for which the rate is £10 per person. You can enjoy one of our lectures prior to hopefully joining as a member. Full Membership
We welcome new members to our Society. The annual subscription is £55. Full membership entitles you to:
- Attend 10 outstanding lectures each year
- Access to hands on and in-depth Special Interest Days, Day Visits, Garden Visits and visits to other UK and overseas locations as part of our cultural programme. Extra costs are incurred when taking part in these activities
- Invitations to exclusive member events
- Volunteering opportunities in local conservation and preservation projects
- A glossy magazine from The Arts Society three times per year
- Regular newsletters and updates from The Arts Society including Monthly Highlights and Instant Expert from our Accredited Lecturers
- Information on current and forthcoming cultural and artistic events.
Joining with Part Year Membership
If you would like to join as a member part way through the year, you will be charged a pro-rata rate of £5.50 per lecture for the remainder of that year's programme, going on to a full subscription the following season. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
On 25 May 2018 the new GDPR came into operation. This is the first major review of data protection laws for 20 years and will seriously impact how many organisations communicate with their audiences. The legislation has primarily been introduced to protect the privacy of individuals whilst harmonising legislation across the EU member states.
The details of Members of The Arts Society Malmesbury will be processed fairly and lawfully in order to satisfy the agreement entered with you on your admittance to membership. This will ensure that you receive the latest news and information about all upcoming events.
Members’ details will be passed to The Arts Society to enable inclusion on the mailing of the magazine and other communications including information about any upcoming national events or items of legitimate interest.
Members’ details may be passed to “The Arts Society Area”, or other affiliated societies, for the purposes of disseminating relevant information of legitimate interest.
Your details will be kept safely and securely and you have the ability to opt out of our communications at any time.
