Welcome to The Arts Society Malmesbury

Welcome to The Arts Society Malmesbury. We are a vibrant and friendly society that brings people together to share and widen their enjoyment and appreciation of all forms of art.

WHERE WE MEET

We meet in Crudwell Village Hall.  Please see the details and map in Where We Meet under the Our Society tab. Our lectures start at 1.45pm in the afternoon on the second Tuesday of each month. We are well known for the warmth of our welcome - members and lecturers alike comment on it!  The first three monthly lectures in our exciting 2025/26 programme are available under Future Lectures. We are looking forward to continuing to explore new and varied topics.

BECOME A MEMBER

We are very happy to welcome new members.  We don’t have a waiting list and it’s really easy to join, even part way through the year - click here for more information.

MEMBERSHIP AND WHAT WE OFFER

Membership includes ten monthly lectures (excluding August and September) from nationally and internationally acclaimed speakers selected from a pool of expert lecturers, accredited centrally by The Arts Society.   In normal circumstances, each lecture is followed by tea, cakes and the opportunity to meet the lecturer, members of our team, and old friends as well as meeting and making new ones.  Additionally, we arrange study days, visits, a plant swap and an annual UK or overseas cultural visit.  Explore our website to see previous examples and to keep up to date with what is happening and new events.

Members receive three magazines per year from The Arts Society as well as fortnightly Instant Expert emails and access to their excellent website.

I and our team members look forward to seeing you all during the coming year and to exploring with you all things artistic.  If you have any queries please do not hesitate to make contact and I will get back to you.
